Merge PDF files — free, private, no signup

Combine multiple PDFs into one file right here in your browser. No upload, no account, no watermark — your files never leave your device.

Add at least 2 PDFs to merge them into one file.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Add your PDFs — drag them onto the box above, or click to browse your files. Each file shows its page count so you can confirm you grabbed the right ones.
  2. Arrange the order — use the up and down arrows to put pages in the sequence you want. The number on each row is its position in the final file.
  3. Merge and download — hit the Merge PDFs button. Your combined file downloads immediately, named with today's date.

Is it safe? Where do my files go?

Nowhere. Most online PDF tools upload your files to their servers, merge them there, and then you download the result — which means your documents pass through someone else's computers. This tool works differently: the merging runs entirely inside your own browser, on your own device. Your PDFs are read from your disk, joined together in memory, and saved back to your disk. No upload means no server copy, no retention policy to trust, and nothing to leak. That's why there's no signup — there's nothing on our end to tie an account to.

Because everything is local, it also works the same on a plane with no Wi-Fi once the page has loaded. And your merged PDF is clean: no watermark, no footer, no branding — just your pages in the order you chose.

Limits, stated plainly

There's no limit on how many PDFs you can merge, and no daily quota. Two practical constraints: each file must be under 100 MB (bigger than that and browsers struggle to hold it in memory), and password-protected PDFs can't be opened without the password, so they can't be merged here. Everything else — contracts, scans, reports, forms — just works.

Frequently asked questions

Can I merge PDFs without creating an account?

Yes. There is no account, no signup, and no email required. Open the page, drop in your PDFs, merge, and download — that's the whole thing.

Will my merged PDF have a watermark?

No. Your merged PDF is exactly your pages joined together, nothing added. No watermark, no footer, no branding stamped on your document.

Is it private? Is it safe to merge sensitive documents?

Yes. Merging happens entirely in your browser on your own device — your files are never uploaded to any server, so there's nothing to leak, breach, or retain. When you close the tab, nothing of your documents remains anywhere but your download.

Can I merge PDFs on my iPhone or Android phone?

Yes. The tool works in any modern mobile browser. Tap to pick your PDFs from your files, reorder them with the arrow buttons, and tap Merge PDFs.

How many PDF files can I merge at once?

There's no set limit. Add as many as you like and arrange them in the order you want. The only practical constraint is your device's memory — files over 100 MB each can't be merged in the browser.

Is it really free?

Yes, completely free, with no trial period and no features held back. DoneDocs makes this tool free because it's genuinely useful — if you ever need someone else to sign a PDF, that's what our paid product does.
